Incredible. The team falls apart in the 1st half of the season, changes coaches, wins 18 of the last 26 games, scratches its way into the playoffs, and wins the Stanley Cup. Incredible.
Love it for Mario too. Chuck Norris could not hold that guy's jock. If there's anybody that was as good as #99 it was Mario. Then he gets cancer, makes a comeback, retires, comes back again, retires, sees his team about to fold (financially), buys the team, makes another comeback as an owner-player single-handedly building fan interest in the team, retires again, and steers them into the Stanley Cup.

Malkin deserved the MVP, but the last 2 games made Fleury a close 2nd. I didn't think he had it in him after game 5. 6 seconds left with a faceoff in front of the Pens goal and Detroit gets off 2 shots on goal, with Fleury making 2 amazing stops. Truly amazing!
