Last week, the topic on Out-of-Bounds was MSU basketball. Bo made the comment that he would really like to see what this team would have been like had we landed Jeremy Wise and Malcolm White. He was convinced that they both wanted badly to come to Starkville, but Rick didn't have the previous administration's support and it didn't materialize. I didn't catch what he was referring to and don't understand why lack of support from the AD would cause him to lose Wise and White. Did anyone hear that portion of his show on Friday, I believe?

Bo was talking about Phil Cunningham and Robert Kirby not getting a push from our past administration for job openings. He said that with Greg Byrne, they will get that push and strong backing. I didn't hear the show Friday.
I know on White he had grade issues, and we somehow landed him because of that. However, I wouldn't say he's worth the investment just yet. The guy is athletic, but he plays out of control, and I just don't think he has much basketball IQ.
In other words, I don't think he'd be a major help for you this year. He'd probably be coming off your bench even if you had landed him.
