Can I ask a question? All this talk about going to get coaches, would 2.0 million to go get Yeskie from Oregon State be the play from here? Dude was under Casey for years, knows big games, can recruit, is in a dying conference … would it be a reach?? I’ll hang up and listen. Sorry guys, I was on the ED Message board for years, being hard-headed took its toll.

I’m way past caring about any MSU athletics right now. Its amazing how bad we are across the board, and the future looks just as bleak. Honestly, is there any sport you look forward to watching next year?
But everybody said that adding Texas and Oklahoma would not push MSU further down the SEC pecking order.

We were already "down the SEC pecking order" 3 seaons ago before TX & OK, last place in '22 next to last '23 season. Can't go much further down than that
True, and I do remember David Murray lamenting on adding TX and OK. He said regardless of what everyone thinks, that it would not be good for MSU. Only the annual SEC share check would be a positive.

It's not Texas and Oklahoma. We'd suck just as bad if they were still in the Big 12. Heck, we won a game from those two. Replace them with Tennessee and Georgia, and we might be 4-13 right now.

The direction that college athletics is taking will not be good for MSU. We won’t be able to be competitive in the major sports.

We are likely going to set the SEC record for consecutive conference losses in football. We are at 12 now. The record is 23.

Vandy and Kentucky get back on the schedule next year. I think we could get one sometime

No one knows what next years schedule will look like. Or just how bad we will be.
I’m sure we will open with Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma. They’ll set up our fourth game at Vanderbilt

it’s over guys. We are done as a serious university athletic department.
