Kenny Chesney and Garth already have stadium tours planned next year. I thought maybe it could be Luke Combs because it seems like he's going to be at the Opera House the night before but he's already playing Rupp next year.

So UK is announcing this concert tomorrow and today Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers, 2 of the biggest acts in country/roots music who both happen to be from Kentucky, announce they will be touring together. Makes you think...

Was wondering as well... I mean can this sell out??

Doubtful, but will have a solid crowd because of Stapleton, and because it is new and exciting to the area. The Railbird festival did well despite the prices and only having a select few A-listers.

Crow and Nelson are not stadium acts so not sure how that will work. I saw Stapleton last year at ATT Stadium when he opened for The Eagles...he puts on a pretty good set, but headlining will be interesting, as well as the price points - definitely will be inflated in relation to his star power.

I think the novelty of the venue (for music) will lead to a ‘sellout’ of the available seats. I’m not a fan of concerts due to masses of people who feel the need to (try to) sing louder than the artist, but even I’m considering going.

I would go see an all Kentucky concert of Stapleton, Simpson, Childers and maybe throw in Montgomery Genrty for measure. That would be better than Cheryl Crow and YOLO.

Hopefully Willie is still breathing by the time this concert rolls around. Stapleton puts on a good show. Crowe is awful so I will be sure not to arrive until after she has performed.
