Does anyone know the official rules of when a player has to sit out a game or more? Minnesota’s quarterback was knocked out of last week game against Iowa, so why is he playing today?
I just wasn’t sure. I thought you had to sit at least the next gameProbably just has to be evaluated and cleared by an independent neurologist
Nope. It's all on the team Dr to clear the player. There's not a rule about sitting out.I just wasn’t sure. I thought you had to sit at least the next game

Yes I saw the play even the official they have with the tv crew said it was targetingSimilar subject, Iowa had a blatant late hit / targeting on the Illinois QB yesterday. Knocked him our of the game and it was a clear case of intentional targeting. Nothing called on the field but they reviewed the targeting and said there wasn't any. This impacted if the offender could have played the first held against us. Just a disgraceful lack of a call. This play should be a training film for officials of what intentional targeting looks like.
