I'm still waiting to see some kind of sign that Rick Ray is a good fit for MSU. I would cut off a limb to see some success by the basketball team with RR calling the shots. Not sure he has as much of a "vested" interest as Richard Williams did (an alum who watched McCarthy work his magic over in the tin gym) or that Stansbury did (relentless recruiting of top level talent who made it his passion) Maybe the basketball gods could bless us with a full compliment of players sometime in the next few 17n years and we will have some kind of idea where we can take this experiment.

I'm confused. RR had the players to start 3-2 in the SEC. But after he loses 13 straight, he doesn't have the players. Fatigue?

If the SEC sucks in basketball, "players" should not be the root of the problem. He should be .500 like every other SEC team.

And a big, big thanks to Croom for prepping me for the Ray tenure of "fixing a dumpster fire", "doing things the right way", kicking everyone but the water boy off the team and finding something else to do on game day to avoid seeing the *** raping.

We have definitely fixed that reputation of being the joke of the NCAA basketball program to just being a 17ing joke.
