They did what few thought could happen in holding Patriots high power offense to only 2 TD's.

Gap control in the run game and constant harassment of Cody proved too much to overcome. Entire Defense played outstanding with Corey Parker (7), Noah Zentz (55) and Collin Parker (8) leading the way.

With the D playing as tough as they are this team is poised to make a run deep into the playoffs.

I was a little surprised this one didn't come down to the wire with Battlefield winning by two touchdowns. Holding Patriot's offense to only 13 points is a nice accomplishment too heading into the playoffs. I am looking for a Battlefield Vs. Centreville game down the stretch.

Congrats!! Big win for Battlefield. Patriot missed two or three chances in the first half to go up by a couple scores. Their QB missed two wide open WR's for TDs and then stepped out of bounds near the end zone to end a drive...But Battlefield came out in the second half and took control of the game...

Good luck in the playoffs!

Patriot left a few plays on the field as did Battlefield, BF dropped two INT's one of them allowing Patriot to continue the drive and eventually scoring to tie the game as time expired in the first half. With Corey Parker in the backfield BF is a different team… need to clean up the penalties and take care of the rock (2 fumbles) and they will be tough to beat.

On a down side they have a lot of players going both ways, see how that plays into it if they make a run.

Why don't you see them getting past South County? I think that game could go either way, but I like Battlefield's chances @ home against a team that allowed a recent 60+ points in one game.
