Congratulations to Coach Jerry Cash, his players and coaches, on their first undefeated regular season at Thomas Jefferson! For those of you who don't know the story, Coach Cash came out of retirement to take on a football program that had only won a single game in three previous seasons. Now in his 7th year at TJ, Coach Cash has an overall 66-22 record (.750) including four conference championships and five consecutive 10+ win seasons. Over his coaching career, Coach Cash now has 336 career wins (in SC and NC), 14 conference championships, 31 state playoff appearances, 11 times named Conference Coach of the Year and is a member of the Union County, Chesnee and East Rutherford High School Hall of Fames. Interesting to note that he has won a conference title at every single program he has coached (Boiling Springs HS, Jonesville HS, Riverside HS, Chesnee HS, East Rutherford HS and Thomas Jefferson).
