That was one hell of a play by that receiver who heaved the ball backon 4th down to keep the drive alive.
great ending. Good call by the coach. Flood did something similar a few years ago against Fresno State. We lost, but I agreed with the call then, too.
Oh wow what a wacky play that was, the play of the game. What was that a 4th down play? Looked like it. Another crazy lateral type play but this one legal.

Yes it was fourth down. Kid had presence in mind to heave it backwards and see what happens (game over anyway). The crazy part was that last runner was trying to lateral back after getting the first down. I'm assuming that it was 0:00 in his mind instead of just fourth down and needing a first to stay alive.
Plus that face mask penalty added to the craziness.
So happy for those guys and SGent.. Would love to see Hog Boys videos of the win today and the auburn win. Seems 2012 was their last upload. Losing to Rutgers that bad?

Lol. Losing to Rutgers was a non conference loss. It hurt for sure. But conference losses hurt worse! Gary Nova had our number back then.

What a game! Brandon Allen had his best game EVER! At Ole Miss even. The ball bounced our way and we played like a top 20 team all night. I recorded the game BUT it stopped at the end of regulation! I am pissed!
Damn DVR settings... got screwed on some RU games I recorded.... learned my lesson, hit the setting that says record 90 minutes additional....
Unbelievable ending. That player who lateral'd it has a great football IQ. I always was amazed on last plays when a team has to score/move forward or else they lose that players accept getting tackled. Throwing the ball backwards wildly was the only option to not end the game, a lot of people wouldn't think to do that but it makes the most sense. Pretty cool.
I just saw the highlights. 4th and 25 in OT. Heady play but wow talk about good fortune and then the facemask do over on the 2 pt conversion. I think a couple of your 9 lives were used up in this game, lol.
Great game and an incredible ending. I found it funny that there were a number of good games to watch, but I was glued to this one. I guess I became a Razorback fan after our home and home with them. Their fans, especially Southern Gentleman, are good folks.

I'm a freshman at a small liberal arts college down the road from RU, and we have a former French screen actor as an instructor in French 101. Little bald guy and funny as hell.
One day, a student in class (my college was in it's last year of being all male at the time) asks, "M'siuer O'Brady (yep, French guy, Irish name), the phrase, 'Je t'aime toujours.' That means 'I will love you forever,' right?"
