I think they were, but have no proof so not going to go on and on about how they are. Do you have any proof that they weren't? or are you just saying you just don't think they were?

in 97 instead of the two headed monster of Matt Wyatt and Rob Morgan and in 98 although Madkin did a more than servicable job, he was still a Fr. and Presley would have been a RS senior that year.

He also could have been our ace on our pitching staff along with Eric DuBose.

Presley is my favorite "what could have been" athlete in MSU history. Whoever his American Legion coach was who ruined his arm- damn you. That is all. Presley should have listened to Polk and not played Legion ball, whether he was going to pitch for us or not. And then on top of it all, MLB decided to bend the rules so that the Mets could sign him even though he had enrolled in classes at MSU and rumor has it was in class. Their reasoning- he was playing Legion ball. I didn't make sense. He is the ONLY player I know of that MLB has done this for. So, screw you to Fay Vincent.

The question was has MSU signed a Parade AA QUARTERBACK- not Parade AA period.

I was just messing with you.

You saw at OM this year what a competent QB can do for a team. Still -- where's the OL recruiting. You can say the same about OM, and I'd agree. I know, they're hard to come by.

the o-line recruiting.

We have Jackson and Watts and that's about it, and neither are all that highly ranked.

Then we have Phillips who would be a huge sign, and make me feel better.

The only thing I can think of is State has John Paul Alford, Tobias Smith, and Templeton Hardy that we have RS, and I've got to think that we have a better than average shot at DeMarco Cox next year.

So, we could conceivably have an o-line like this in the future:

C- Alford
G- Smith
G- Hardy
T- Cox
T- Jackson

That said, none of those guys were world-beaters in high school, except for Hardy, and he is really raw. So, we really need to try to find some big-time o-lineman in the future.

I believe next year is a better year for O-lineman in state, some of which have state ties. Rea from Harrison Central (brother is freshman on baseball team) and James Hurst 4star from Indiana (brother of Nelson) are two with ties to State.

pound on you and wear you down. He likes to soften you up with the run and then open up the passing game.
