The cost to purchase road game tickets at your stadium this year is $15 more than what is being charged this year by the last three teams to win BCS championships.

That'll get you there.

Edit to add: Alabama's ticket is actually $5 CHEAPER than in 2008. That's change I can believe in.

....fortunately for me, I gave two Egg Bowl tickets this past year to my brother-in-law, an Ole Miss ticket holder (I know, crucify me, right?), in exchange for two tickets to this year's Egg Bowl in Oxford.

Looks like I came out better in that deal.

what did they charge y'all? And it's nothing like Memphis charging $50 for our game when every other game is $10. Hell, send them back, I'm sure someone will buy them.

Either that or I guess daytime fireworks aren't cheap.

That's really close to NFL prices (my Bengals-Broncos tickets were $67).

There are fair weather fans on both sides that probably intend to go for a period of time or are on the fence but want to "wait and see how the team looks" before shelling out money and wasting a Thanksgiving weekend watching their team get beatdown 45-0. Those fans also probably figure that they can get a ticket somehow even at worst case scenario from a scalper.

I know this year, all of the people around me save for the Tyson Lee fan club sold or gave their tickets away to Ole Miss fans. I appreciated that. But in the end it worked out of course and I actually enjoyed jumping around like a maniac around them. And listening to the Tyson Lee fan club occasionally chime in "But Relf only knows three plays. Tyson will come back in the next couple of plays." Very enjoyable Friday.

We are a leader: Nutt rule on number of committs and maybe Boone rule on cost of visiting ticket.

They were part of someone's season ticket package, so I believe they were cheaper than a single game ticket would have been. And we were in the lower half (of the upper deck).
