All the Winner since 2008 are still in the NFL except Jonny football. its like a lot of things in life it's hit and miss just like many 5* recruits never pan out in college.

First of all, Lamar Jackson was a most deserving winner of the Heisman Trophy. He was the best player I witnessed this season.
Having said that, I LOVE how the opinions of our board is SOOOOOO IMPORTANT to many of the Card fans that frequent this board(and some that used to, but don't anymore).

[laughing][laughing]1-3 against teams with winning records. Also showboating, doing the heisman pose after tying a team vegas thought they'd pummel, before having a turnover (4 overall) that essentially lost the game. He didn't deserve it, and literally nothing can change my opinion on that.
I honestly felt the last two games may have cost him the Heisman but I assume the voters looked at his entire season.
I don't have an obsession with you. That silly comment is simply Steelers being Steelers. What I DO have an obsession with is YOU coming to this board and 'liking' every post I make regarding UL. Steelers liking me saying negative things about UL is what's unhealthy, It's not unhealthy when I stay on my home turf and rip things about UL, Pitino, Petrino and the man behind the turtleneck. If you still have any remotely civil brain cells left you should remember that at one point you told me you thought I had some actual knowledge about some of my comments about those clowns. You mean his whole season of stats that were mainly compiled in wins over unranked, non-bowl eligible teams and 3 losses, one of which was the largest upset of the season (based on the vegas spread)? Because if you want to overlook all of that, please explain to me how Colt Brennan didn't win the heisman when he set the passing touchdown record in 2006.

The report of the shootings was running and it said a cheerleader was also shot... Said cheerleaders don't have to be "students"... I thought that odd but had heard the same a couple years ago regarding another cheerleader... I'd like to know if this is a UofL thing, or if at UK, cheerleaders don't have to be a student either?

Both are great players. Jackson lost 3 games this year. Watson lost 3 games in his career! I would have preferred it go to Watson, but congrats to the young QB from Louisville.
Who is supposed to say thank you? Bobby is the one that got him here. Bobby is the only coach in America that told Lamar, "you will be our QB". Every school in the country wanted to change his position.
Lamar Thomas was next to nothing here and that's why Bobby let him go. Nick was doing all of the grunt work with the receivers anyway.

I watched enough of Jackson's performance against Clemson and Florida State to be convinced he was the best player in America.
I hate the Cards' sports programs, but the truth is the truth. And, I don't give a rats' arse if it makes me look "classy" (how can any of us look classy, with false screen names??), I think he deserved the trophy.
His Heisman trophy will always have a smear of Houston red, and Kentucky Blue on it. And maybe two Kentucky Blue smears, if we take care of business next year in Commonwealth.
