Watched this guy's travel vlog last night. He's from South Africa but lives in China and is married to a Chinese woman. He used to be kind of a regular vlogger but he has really gotten critical of China in the past few months.

It's fairly long and he dwells on eating odd animals, and dogs, for quite a while but 22 minutes in starts his rant on hygiene and some of his video is not for germaphobes.

Guys going to end up disappearing/dead!

All my shoes and boots are made in America. Most of my suits are, several in Chattanooga, Tn.

I bought a hammer last week; found one made in Vietnam (they despise China).

Folks need to check the label!!
Not everyone can afford to be checking the labels. Some stuff can get really damn expensive if it’s entirely made in America.

-hardwick in Chattanooga?

-estwing hammers...for future reference.

-for those worried about price...buy less stuff and take care of it ...higher quality tends to last longer.

-India/dominican republic make a lot of clothes as well...just avoid china to start.

-just do what you can afford to do. Research is key. Baby steps.

Yes. Oldest suit maker in the US, and pretty reasonably priced.

Thanks for the info. As to quality, my Redwings, Alden and Allen Edmond shoes go for years and years. I bought my last imported shoes in 1998, penny loafers, that fell apart in just a few weeks. I have Florsheim Royal Imperials that lasted 20 years.
