But mostly Pacers. Reggie Miller was (and is) one of my favorite players of all time. Still love them to this day... just not as much as the Grizz. I make it a point to go to every pacers vs griz game when they come to Memphis.

When MJ got there. The Hawks and Dominique was always my 2nd fav... Now I'm a Hawks fan primarily with the Grizz being my 2nd fav...</p>

Jordan was my favorite player growing up and I loved watching him, but once he finally finished I didn't really care much. I really didn't become a fan of the Grizzlies until Roberts landed there on draft night

...Coach Auerbach, Dennis Johnson, and the Boston Garden are all dead and gone. And Larry Bird has a bad ticker.

It was time to move on.

When they lost to the Bulls in 7 in 93'. That team was fun to watch.

But, growing up it was what ever team Dan Majerle was on. The Suns for the most part.

I still have a USA Majerle jersey somewhere.

Ive been a Lakers fan since I was little because my dad loved Jabbar but Reggie was my alltime favorite player. The 3 was always my favorite shot when I played so I guess thats why I took up with him. My favorite memory of him was in MSG against the Knicks when he scored like 8 points in 12-15 seconds with the 3, steal, 3, steal 2 freethrows. I was torn when the Lakers and Pacers met in the finals. I wish he could have gotten a ring before he retired but i respect him sticking with Indiana instead of doing in the Malone/Payton thing at the end of their careers.

...the best part of the story from that Knicks game. Spike Lee apparently taunted him and pissed him off, so he scored 25 fourth quarter points and gave Spike the universal choke signal. One of the most awesome things ever seen in the NBA.

On a side note I remember when I couldnt wait to get the new College Slam of the format. It came out the year after the final four run and I was heartbroken that MSU wasnt on it

When they moved, I was just starting to actually get into the NBA. I guess I was more of an Iverson fan than a fan of any one team.

to Memphis and at first I didn't pay attention, then when they got bad I started following them/like them. Over the past few years I've really gotten into the NBA though.

Since the Grizz move to Memphis typically the Tigers have been bad/medicore when the Grizz were good and vice versa, looks like the pendulum is swinging back now.
