When his offense can get on the field, I see an offense that is pretty well put together. I see a lower volume of drops, bigger gaps for backs. I also, regardless of personnel, see play calling that seems to be spot on. In the midst of all the coaching woes, I think it important to say it seems the offense is well coached. The UF game not withstanding.

There is clearly a maturity level on offense that we didn't have last year and that we don't have on defense. I think the experiment with young coach with young coordinators has got to stop. Having an experienced and proven guy making the calls seems to matter.

Really? Mr. Gran has 25+ years as an offensive and special teams coach with employment at Auburn, Ole Miss and Tennessee. As an offensive coordinator, he is among the most respected in college football.

It took him 25 years to get his first P5 coordinator position - and it was with a lame duck staff at Kentucky. There is a reason for that. Pump the brakes.

I'd love to see Brohm and Eddie stay on as OC. I know that's pie in the sky but that would be a pretty good combo IMO.

Yeah, well, it took Arians a long time to become a head coach. That was not his mistake. It was a collective mistake from a lot of other people. By the way, are you yet another UofL fan on this board?

So you want a career position coach as the next HC at UK? Sounds like YOU are the Louisville fan.
