I’ll ask the same thing I asked last week about CSOD…How have they been defending a team like Murphy that will and can line it up and run it right at them?

East Wilkes put up 28 on them running the ball and I’ve heard it shoulda been more if not for a couple turnovers.

How does Corvian compare on the O and D lines to CSOD?
Corvian has two D1 d-lineman and I seriously doubt they'll be stupid enough to have none of their d-lineman in a three point stance like CSOD did most of the game, Corvian should fare better upfront for sure.

All I will say right now is that I hope all those colleges are watching this game closely. Might be some under the radar Murphy kids who will start to get noticed after this.
As far as seniors go I think #71 and #84 have the ability to play somewhere at the next level. I know #71 has schools like Catawba and Lenoir Rhyne looking at him.

obviously 5 is gonna go have an opportunity to go somewhere. I also saw a couple guys on the lines that look like college players. 71 is one of them
#71 and #75 are both 6'5" 285 lbs + and both move really well at that size, #75 is a junior and not as far along or as polished as #71 is but both will be college lineman at some level.

#84 at DE is a smooth athlete with a great motor but at 6'3" 210 lbs is a little undersized, I still feel he's got the necessary tools and would bulk up enough to stick at DE in a college weight program, but we'll see if that opportunity comes.

You're correct on #5, he has college RB size at 6'1" 215 lbs. What level he can play at will depend on how much more he develops this off-season, he's gotten a lot stronger over the last 2 years but has lost some of the burst/quickness he had as an underclassmen with the increase in size.

In the sophomore class, 8, 9, and 21 have next level potential as well. It will depend on how hard they work and improve over the next two years, but the fact that all three start on this year’s team says a lot.

All three are very talented players but #21 is about 5'7"-5'8", #9 about 5'8"-5'9" and #8 about 5'9"-5'10" right now, they'll all likely need to grow at least a few inches to have a chance to play at the next level.

In the sophomore class #17 has college height at 6'3"- 6'4" and should have a college level arm, he needs to bulk up and work hard, but he has the raw tools and measurables to have a chance. Excited to see what he'll look like next year with another off-season of development.
