Costas just made me laugh while commentating on the Winter Games opening ceremony
....When the one and only competitor from the Cayman Islands was being introduced (pasty white dude with red hair), Costas said:
"His name is Dow Travers and he was born in the Cayman Islands but went to boarding school in England. He's currently a graduate student at Brown and spends most of his time training in Aspen. ...........And despite those hardships he's persevered to make it to these Winter Games!"
This, just after my wife and I had been talking about how most of the athletes at the winter games come from extremely wealthy families.
