This is great news. But I’ll get excited when I see the news that he has officially signed with Nebraska. He’s just a visitor till then.

This guy would be a legit big time addition and at an area of need, just pay him what you need to to land him.

Yeah cutting your returning Sophs and freshmen to sign more freshmen seems like a great idea. Then you can blame youth in perpetuity.

Apparently his mom had some travel issues for today. I guess she is going with him on the visits. The Alabama visit was already scheduled, the Cal visit is new. At this point I would be surprised if he makes it in on Sunday unless Nebraska tells him they will match offers and guarantee him a starting spot, and the others don't
Well if it's a travel issue I feel better about it. Being last seems to be an issue in portal vs high school guys
The good news about getting the last visit is obvious. The bad news is the first two schools he visits may make a huge offer and tell him if he visits the other school it’s off the table.

Also with agents now involved, the don't take other visits with a huge offer can be countered over the phone, when the next school says I can match the offer just come on the visit. The agent doesn't necessarily feel the pressure of committing on the spot.
If Mom is visiting with the recruit, cold weather may help. She might appreciate seeing the coeds wearing layers rather than scantily clad. Maybe I am biased but I suspect moms prefer the environment of Lincoln for their kids better than most campuses. Let’s hope this kid loves and listens to dear old ma.
