1. Do you think any of our presidents would consider WVor anything north of North Carolina?I can't see it.

2. I think any "alliance" will quickly be broken as soon as they see how fast this thing is unfolding, and big fat checks can help change minds.MSU and Ole Miss, Auburn and Alabama deal with multiple schools in the same state, so can Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. I'm fine with 13 schools but just sitting back and waiting could be costly.

3. I don't care if we expand or not, I really don't. I don't want 9 conference games and I don't want some trash school. Whoever comes on board need to be good fits, and not just for footprints. Tradition, fan support, decent academics, hot girls..etc. I hope our leaders understand this as well.

I like the idea expressed by someone on this board of only admitting a school if it is located in a state that has a star on the Confederate battle flag. (Negative connotations of that requirement aside, the conference needs to remain Southern.)<div>
</div><div>One thing I never see considered: What if the SEC stayed at 13? The assumption is that the SEC will go to 14 or 16 teams, but what if the SEC does not see a team that will be a good fit? Will the SEC really expand with lower-level teams just for the sake of having an even number of teams? I'm not sure they would.</div>
