-No one has been harder on Kaleb Eulls production than me. He's played back to back really good games and is being disruptive. I'll eat my crow and love it.

-Am I crazy or did I notice Will Redmond at safety a few plays? Or was he just the nickel back?

-If MSU would have landed 4 star Ryan Buchannon early, they wouldn't have snagged 2star Damien Williams late. Would not have won that game in overtime.

-Milton fumbling might have sealed his fate at RB. I've seen him a bunch of times at practice and he is a great athlete, smooth runner. Per Balis hand timed 40, he's sub 4.4. Let's not argue if that's legit. Let's just say he's fast as hell. He's 6'1 210. He's got good hands. Should we move him to safety or a hybrid LB? We've got JRob, Shump, and Aeris Williams & Dontavian Lee coming in. I think it should be explored because he's an SEC athlete no doubt.

Not a recruiting insider, but I follow it close enough to know that Buchannon wasn't coming to State. He sure wasn't quick to jump on that MSU offer at Jr Day. He stuck with his commitment after TSUN landed another 4-star recruit and before Cord commited to State.

Milton fumbling might have sealed his fate at RB.

It took the fumble for you to realize that?

Knowing his family, I'm pretty sure Buchanan would have walked on at UM before he took a scholarship from MSU.

If he is that fast and has good hands, then try him as a receiver before moving him over to defense. The offense needs as many SEC caliber players as it can get.

Missed both points

-Stars and recruiting hype aren't everything

-Should Milton change positions

I've thought Milton was the best looking RB on our roster. Reminds me a lot of Ballard.

But three fumbles in about 50 career carries... all the running ability in the world does no good if you can't hold on to the football. I'd be afraid to ever put him out there again.

Milton seems to be out of position. Let him try somewhere else before you force him out.

I agree with both these points. The incredible thing is that he could actually win LDP's carries for next year. Dan has always had a gift for keeping his best players off the field. Why else does a RB stay there being 5th on the depth chart?
