I know the Cal players will have his back, especially the ones who went pro and got paid. Rondo is correct though.

Cousins acts like it was terrible when he got there lol... we had like 2 years of Billy and two downish years of tubby... those 4 years really weren't as bad as these last 4 years how I remember it.
It's obvious now mitch is bringing cal back, I assume because all the grand slam hires said no.
Only hope is Cal's 2022, 2023, 2024 is a mirror of coach K 2012,2013,2014 ...and the 15/25 mirror too and it's back to title contender.

Rondo and Ulis on the bench would be awesome.
He would suck as a coach because he hates losing and would get into the players *** and he wouldn't be one of Cal's yes men.
Kobe & Lebron both said he was one of the highest IQ players they ever played with or against. Lebron specifically said, “it’s weird to me that he isn’t coaching”.

I love Cuz and no disrespect to him at all, I even love that he loves his coach, but he's wrong. It's been as good here as it was when Cal was winning, but it's never been this bad.
Cuz just got SMOKED!! UK has had FIVE Different coaches win a CHAMPIONSHIP!
Cousins acted like JVC invented winning championships at UK. He needs to remember he played on one of JVC'S teams that CHOAKED!!

Rondo gets it. This is about how I expected it to go. Cal guys don't know anything about the program's rich tradition. Kentucky is bigger than any one coach.

I will be 79 in June and I have followed UK since 1966 and Cousins does not seem to know the history of UK Basketball. What I have been watching the last 5 years is not UK Basketball. Time for a change, Fire Calipari.

What did cousins say that was wrong? Everything he said was 100% factual. He acknowledged we have been great forever and cal brought us back to being great when we were down. How is that wrong?

Rondo is an interesting dude. Kind of the NBA version of Aaron Rodgers. Freak talent, but very cerebral and kind of different. Rain man meets a beautiful mind meets an elite athlete.
Some say he would be a great coach. Not sure of his interest level in it though.
A lot of these NBA dudes have podcasts, a couple are very good and worth listening/watching, and whenever they talk about Rondo you can just tell.
