What's up with this cold? Negative for cold and the flu, but I feel waves of covid like symptoms like incredible tiredness. My wife calls it a covid cold.
Because Calvanists don’t ponder “what -ifs”Why didn’t you wear a mask?
Well doneBecause Calvanists don’t ponder “what -ifs”
I have felt this way too. I can’t prove it, but since COVID I feel like I have seen a ton more people having cold symptoms that linger for weeks after upper respiratory infections. Have had to give a lot of them steroids to get them over it.I don't know about y'all, but I think COVID did some irreparable damage to my lungs, throat, and sinuses. Now every time I get a cold it lingers, especially the cough. Either that or I just keep getting COVID every winter.
This years is particularly unpleasant in the mucus department.
My whole house tested positive Jan 1 after getting sick week of Christmas. Wild we were not sure if we got it then and texted positive later or two separate sicknesses, but we were all sick for all of January pretty much. And the cold kills me now. I can't be in it at all. Just kills my lungs.I have felt this way too. I can’t prove it, but since COVID I feel like I have seen a ton more people having cold symptoms that linger for weeks after upper respiratory infections. and this year has been REALLY bad in the cold and flu department in general
Side note here. It still amazes me that the average American doesn't understand the concept of viral spit droplets from talking or coughing. Both the giver and the receiver. Every surgeon wears a mask during surgery. And it's not too prevent the unavoidable aerosols. Just the tremendous amounts of bacteria from droplets. Same for the millions of viral strands in a spit droplet. Why didn’t you wear a mask?

Masks, like the vaccines, were never designed to keep you from getting COVID. Just to keep you and others from dying from being exposed to very large amounts of the virus that your immune system cannot fight all at once. You actually need to be exposed to a very small amount of it and hope that your immune system can figure it out.
By now everyone has gotten it thankfully. And most immune systems have a general idea of what the virus is. But what you're seeing is that the immune systems still are not perfect yet in fighting it. Good, better, but not perfect.

It’s public places in general and not just schools. Our bodies are amazing things to fight off what all is out there every minute of the day.I have a toddler. I'm basically always fighting off something or other. I should buy stock in Kleenex at this point.
Before this I was rarely sick, and I'm not some bastion of health.
What boggles my mind is, my son attends a private school. He has an extra chromosome, i.e. Down Syndrome, and this school is a mix of typical children and special needs ones, with a separate therapy wing. The school employs a full time nurse, affiliated with a local university hospital. If my son has a fever he MUST stay home until 24 hours after fever is gone. I mention all of this only to say, the school actually shuts down multiple times a year to sanitize everything. Yet, it seems it's still a petri dish.
Regular run-of-the-mil daycares and schools (which I attended) must really be cesspools.
So, did the masks work in stopping the spread?Side note here. It still amazes me that the average American doesn't understand the concept of viral spit droplets from talking or coughing. I can't spit on somebody from 6 feet though. Sorry man that was my one smart *** comment for the day**Side note here. Good lord, its like we went back in time 6 years with this frustratingly simplistic question. So, did the masks work in stopping the spread?
Depends if you are 6 foot 10 and the other person is 4 foot 11 lolI can't spit on somebody from 6 feet though. Sorry man that was my one smart *** comment for the day**
Lol what? This isnt a 1 + 1 = 2 thing. She just happened to to get those after covid. My wife was diagnosed with rheumatoid Arthritis, and lymphedema shortly after COVID.
Since Covid and or the vaccine she is always in pain and has never fully found remission.
Never had Covid that I know of. Never been tested. Never had the Covid shots. Never wore masks. Most of the people I hear of that keep getting sick or long covid or covid colds ect, are people who had those shots. Just my analysis through conversations with those people. I don’t know what to really think about it all.start taking a vitamin D supplement. You’re welcome. Signed, Never had Covid.
Calvinists don’t ponder “what-ifs,” but they sure do ponder “God ordained this sniffle for His glory” while quietly regretting every Pfizer jab they lined up for. Amen?Because Calvanists don’t ponder “what -ifs”
Unequivocally yes, they helped a lot. There's a ton of data on it. But if you're questioning this, then im sure you'll question the scientific research put into itSo, did the masks work in stopping the spread?
Can’t remember when she got diagnosed, but is definitely worse now. She can tell when it’s going to rain 3-4 days before it does. Couldn’t do that before. It seems to amplify everything. Again don’t know if it was the actual Covid virus or side effects from the vaccine.Lol what? This isnt a 1 + 1 = 2 thing. She just happened to to get those after covid.
If in the Starkville area, you should go see the Muff Doctor. My right ear has not been right in two and a half years. It’s a constant muff, then better then muff. Recently, I developed my first stye/cyst in my right eye, compounded with now my left ear ringing and stopped up…not wax.
I’m 10 days removed from omoxcylin cycle which did nothing to improve anything. I’ve recently seen improvements with shrinking the growth in my eye with warm/ hot compresses…which takes a toll on the surrounding skin of my right eye.
And just recently as today, I had a 24 hour shiit/puke session of just foam and water, which is currently subsided.
I’ll be going to the eye dr this week to treat whatever is growing and shrinking in my right eye….all of this to say, from 20-40, I caught the flu once. From 40-till 43, now, I’ve never felt sickness like I’ve felt over the last 3/4 years.
Not sure if it’s just my time for dying or what but something happened in mid 2020. And it’s not just me.
you've had it multiple times by now, you have been fortunate to be asymptomatic thus farstart taking a vitamin D supplement. You’re welcome. Signed, Never had Covid.

The answer is “masks had very little effect on the spread of COVID. Vaccines had very little effect on the spread of COVID but did help reduce the symptoms of COVID.”Good lord, its like we went back in time 6 years with this frustratingly simplistic question.
Below is an honest rundown of mask effectiveness, based on countless governmental and private health studies released this decade.
Fun fact- this information is readily available to you through your favorite search engine.
- High proper use of proper masks helped to measurably reduce infection in some instances.
- High proper use of proper masks did not measurably reduce infection in some instances.
- Low proper use of proper masks did not measurably reduce infection in some instances.
- Low improper use of proper masks did not measurably reduce infection in most instances.
- Low use of proper masks did not measurably reduce infection in most instances.
