COVID kept WVU out of 3rd place

WVU is 4th in the Big 12 standings but only because Oklahoma has played more games because of COVID postponements.

Both have 3 losses.

Baylor is 7-0.

Texas is 5-2.

Oklahoma is 6-3.

WVU is 4-3.

The Mountaineers don’t play again till Saturday, against Florida. 2 p.m. tipoff in Morgantown. All Big 12 teams will be playing SEC teams in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

#24 Oklahoma beat Texas, 70-69, on Tuesday night.

Kansas State visits #2 Baylor in the only Wednesday Big 12 game.

TCU visits #15 Kansas on Thursday.

WVU won’t play another Big 12 game till February 2, at Iowa State.
