Question for anyone who got their second shot at Kroger Field...
When did you get the email to make the appointment before you actually got the second shot?
I'm supposed to get my second shot late next week but have received the email to actually schedule it yet.

Notchet...but I had a nearly irresistible urge to buy 500 shares of Microsoft today. I dunno what was up with that.

Do you have a sudden new desire to wear black frame glasses and utterly awful sweaters and to marry a woman who could kick your *** in a fist fight?

Here is my experience. I can't even get one, though I am now age eligible in Ohio, and the website is a cluster. And I am done wasting another second of my time with this.

A combined total of probably 45 minutes over the last few days is enough.

First Moderna shot: nothing except a sore arm for a few hours. Felt great.

Second Moderna shot: got it yesterday. Felt dizzy/woozy this morning. I told my wife that it felt like I was back in college waking up early for a class after a night of heavy drinking and you're teetering on still being drunk and being hungover. Fast forward to right now - I'm lethargic as hell/no energy, cold chills, slight headache. So it's basically just like a hangover.

I had to drive an hour and 15 minutes to find a place with appointments. Also had problems with the website. It was telling me I wasn't eligible even though I had just become eligible.

Got my first Pfizer shot today at work.

Arm is a bit sore.

I feel tired, but I was feeling a bit tired from doing data entry all afternoon so I can't say with 100% certainty if it's work hangover or vaccine causing it.

Upper stomach hurts, but I have chronic stomach problems, so there's no way to say with certainty it's vaccine related. But this does feel different than the stomach problems I normally have when they flare up, so it could vaccine related.

45 minutes over a "few days"? Took me about 6 days and staying online until the appointments were filled for the day (usually about an hour) here in Florida. I finally got an appointment at Publix and got my 1st shot. They scheduled me for my 2nd shot while I was there, and I don't have to do anything except show up.

Had you used the link I provided you may have gotten a shot quicker. Though you would have gotten Johnson and Johnson.

That's good enough for you or me.

Have had Pfizer 1 & 2, slight sore spot where the needle went in was all, no problems at all. Wife had the Moderna, first one didn't bother her, the second was rough on her. Had a 103 fever, passed out, vomited, very tired for several days.

Had no problem signing up, signed up on the PMC website in Pikeville. Got a call in about a week for my appointment date, had a drive thru, never got out of the car and received the date for my second shot. Very streamlined process. I'm on blood thinners and had to wait for 30 minutes after the shot, others waited 15 minutes.

Dad had the same problem. He called them and got him scheduled right away.

If they know the timetable between shots, why didn't they just schedule both shots at the same time as I did? When I was scheduling my first shot yesterday for today I also scheduled my second shot.
BTW, everyone I talked to said my arm would hurt after the first shot. It's been 11 hours now and I don't feel a thing in my arm. I would never know I had a shot today.

You must have gotten that sweet saline.

Your wife is as severe as I have heard. Hope she gets well soon.

So, today, I tried again and got an appointment within seconds. I'll go but I'll be holding my nose the whole time- on my way there, while there, and on my way back home. Rest assured that I won't forget to request my proof of vaccination card- that's the whole point of this thing for me.

I forgot to mention that the first time I tried to do it, it listed Kroger's an option, so Kroger schedules me for an appointment in Kentucky, even though I am not a Kentucky resident. A quick google search advised me that I am NOT eligible for the shot in Kentucky. Glad I found that out or I would have wasted a whole morning waiting for a shot that I wouldn't have gotten, and, for all I know, might have caught Corona while waiting in line to find out.

Wildcatnati taking the vaccine is big moves. He was super adamant about not taking it so seeing him change his mind about it shows how much perception is changing about it. All good things IMO

Got my second Moderna shot Tuesday and reacted the next day with muscle joint aches, fatigue and low-grade fever. It's now Thursday morning after sleeping for 12 hours I feel much better. Still a little achy but I should be normal by tomorrow.

A Youtube doctor said this is normal and is your immune system reacting to the shot. It's actually a positive sign that your immune system is working. Younger people seem to get more sever reactions than older ones simply because they have better immune systems.

2nd dose of Pfizer 3 hours ago. Nothing to report on this one so far. Barely even light headed this time. Drinking much more fluids today though.

Received my second Moderna vaccine yesterday, other than being tired as hell and sleeping until 10am all is good except the giant sized swollen injection site on my arm. Haven’t slept till 10 am since I was 7 🍺

Pfizer. Slight arm soreness (less so with the second). Zero symptoms except maybe a little tired, but I’m always tired. Fully vaxxed (two weeks past second shot) as of today.

I broke my ankle between the first and second shot so that delayed me a little. They offered me the flu vaccine at surgery and I’m glad I didn’t take it because that would have delayed my second shot two weeks.

if you’re having trouble getting it, sign up on Walgreens and just say you’re obese or asthmatic. They don’t check, and they have more doses than arms.

EDIT: parents, 78 and 72 reported zero side effects from both shots, besides mild arm soreness. My wife had gastrointestinal issues with the firstbut those are common for her. As far as we know none of us have had COVID.

Got our first dose of Pfizer last week, go back another 3 weeks for last dose. Other than hankering to lick my balls, no side effects at all. Of course, I think I had that hankering pre-vaccine.

David Jones, former UK player, had some really bad symptoms for a while after his first dose. Don't know which brand he received. Was really really sick for about a week, but seems to have recovered ok.

Btw/Keep in mind .... As much as 85% of the positive covid tests before Jan 21st were false positives according to the CDC per their release posted then.
