Going for my 2nd Phizer tomorrow evening. Looking forward to being fully vaccinated and being able to see my 75 year old parents again without masks and distancing.

Anti-vaxxers make flat earthers seem well informed.
You need to have a vaccine to see your parents without ''masks and distancing'', whatever. This reminds of me people walking around with their toddlers, and forcing their toddler to wear masks- while OUTSIDE. Other people like to gloat on Twitter about how they haven't been to a restaurant since March of last year. Pathetic. The Black Death, this thing is NOT.

Branch Covidians make flat earthers seem well informed.

So......we are supposed to believe that they all of a sudden came up with a vaccine when the common cold cannot be cured. NO THANKS!
You can let them pump that crap into your body if you want but I'll pass. I have a vaccine called an immune system......I'll take my chances with taht.
The projections now are that 95% of Americans who haven't already contacted "Covid" will not- and, of those who do, it has a 99.6% survival rate, and 99.99% if you're not already dying. I think you have made a reasonable decision.

Yep. Sure so. I know the odds are in my favor with Covid, but I’m not trying to test them just because.

I don’t really understand why you’re even posting in this thread to begin with other than to play the role of the contrarian know it all everyone rolls their eyes at.

I’m going to live my life the way I see fit. Don’t really care about your opinion of my personal decisions.

In 45 years of driving, the only auto accident I've ever been involved in was when I was sitting at a red light and two other vehicles collided and one of them slid into me, denting the fender on my truck. Do I wear a seat belt? GD right I do.

Mr. Gov says otherwise.

For some people.

I’m an introvert who is easily annoyed by idiocy. I’ve never been a hang out in big crowds kind of person, especially as I age. I haven’t been a regular in bars for 20 years and prefer chilling at home to a night out.

Pandemic didn’t really cramp my style too much at all, but it did provide a great excuse to decline social invites I used to have to lie about. Working remotely is way better than my former 100-mile round trip commute to the office.

I understand extroverts who need human interaction to feel normal had a hard time over the last year. I do empathize with those people.

Survived Pfizer round 2.

Wife and I got the shot Friday after work.

Friday night my arm was tender, started feeling a little achy around 10 pm. Took two Tylenol and went to sleep. Slept 9 hours.

Saturday: Arm was very sore at injection site. Didn’t feel bad, but didn’t feel good either for most of the day. Very lethargic. Took midday nap. Went to bed early. Slept 9 more hours. Drank fluids all day.

Sunday: Arm hurt worse than Saturday. Felt fine otherwise. Arm soreness was gone by 6 pm. Good as new today.

Wife was fine Friday. She had a rough Saturday. Sore arm, fatigue, headache, low grade fever (99.4) and chills. She slept most of the day. She was fine Sunday outside of a sore arm.

JMO but people not getting the shot are just being selfish, the best (only?) way to wipe it out. The smallpox shot I got in the first grade hurt ten times worse than the Covid, but it helped wipe out smallpox as a serious concern because we didn't have a choice. Scaredy cats.

yeah, and I’d love to see the evidence of the lost you quoted.

if what he was saying is true the virus wouldn’t be raging in India and still causing huge problems in Brazil

I have a great plan. Open everything up. No restrictions. Let all the vaccinated people enjoy life while the anti-vaxxers and the "Covid is no worse than a cold" crowd take the full brunt and wrath for their decisions.

Look at it as natural selection.

Perhaps (don't know) the people that have reactions to the shot are the ones that would be seriously ill or die if they did catch the virus. I had no reaction to the two shots at all, but then I had mono (Very similar virus) while at UK and stayed in bed a day and a half, then went back to my classes, was fine then. A good friend of mine got it, was in bed for two weeks, lost 20#, and had to drop out of school. (Later got his Doctor's degree in Engineering, very smart guy). Sounds like no one knows how they will react to the shots but I would take the inconvenience of a bad reaction to a the chance of dying every day of the week.

That is a good plan, except you will be prolonging the duration of the crisis.

please explain why the crisis isn’t already over?
At this point all restrictions do is save people from themselves. Hospital systems won’t be overwhelmed anymore because the vaccines have worked so well

Why have to worry about it at all? Why have to worry about your more vulnerable older loved ones?

Of course if you don't have any that is understandable, if you don't care if they live or die then why bother?

They gotta put the belt on Miro. Need the heel with the belt and the faces chasing. And he deserves it. His character arc, despite being criticized when he first came to AEW, has actually been extraordinary.

Anybody who wants to keep from dying from this virus has had ample opportunity to do so. Get vaccinated and/or stay home. You can protect yourself from it. The crisis is over.

I got vaccinated. Seemed like the simple thing to do, although some are afraid of the shot, I guess.

Hey Al Einstein, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but 0.2% of the US population has already died of this. So your 99.97% analysis is already flawed.
Albert doesn't like being called Al, watch your back.
Took my first Pfizer at the Krog last Friday.

It took a pandemic, but I had a seat in the Club Level for 30 minutes.

Shoulder was sore two days and I slept like a cat for three days.

Math skills seem to have improved!

And Kroger’s has one concession stand open. I bought Kettle Corn and a pop. No dogs/brats.
I don't think they ever allowed dogs in Krogers, but brats are everywhere.

And prove it, what is 2 plus 2?

Oh good, someone else who doesn't understand natural selection.

I hope someone at some point looks at the "science" of "herd immunity" before they post about it or draw cartoons. If there is such a thing as "herd immunity at 70%" then some mental midget should look at exposing the healthy people to the virus and isolating the immune compromised. THERE IS A 99.92% survival rate for those without serious comorbidities.

The manufacturers have admitted the shots don't prevent you from getting c19 (IMMUNITY). They said they don't prevent you from dying from it. They said they don't prevent you from transmitting it. So wtf is the point?

There is no such thing as herd immunity for this virus while they are administering experimental "vaccinations"... We either get people to their optimum health or they will succumb to something whether it's flu, c19, pneumonia, etc. We could also use antivirals to treat people before their symptoms get severe, like Tulsi Gabbard's husband was. They said it saved his life.

Lol. This could only be more disingenuous if you added a meme that said "If you don't repost this you hate babies, angels, kittens, and puppies." It's not a new level of superstition you espouse, but a very old one.

Getting a shot will not keep you from becoming infected, dying, nor transmitting the virus. See if anyone anywhere at these companies has said they do and has shown studies to prove it. Ask them if anyone has gotten it and died since being inoculated.

Yes, it is the simple thing to do.

Yes, simple and effective. Over 585,000 are supposed to have died in the US from Covid, some of the scaredy cats should ask them if they would have liked to have been able to take a shot.

Oh, I forgot, they won't be able to answer you.

BS, how do you know what would have happened without the shots? No one is claiming that getting the shot will mean you won't die tomorrow in a car accident. No one is claiming that NO ONE will get sick or die if they take the shot, just that the chances of it happening will be reduced DRASTICALLY, AND that you WILL help prevent others from dying because of it.

Just a coincidence that the spread of the virus has been dropping so drastically since they started giving the shots, and even making them mandatory in certain jobs. Purely a coincidence, thanks for doing your part.
