You don’t have to assume. Just read.Sure thing bud. And I am going to assume most people don’t know the difference between convalescent plasma and plasma and how each is used.
Thus, a bunch of nuts created social media postings that misled and said that the Red Cross isn’t accepting plasma from vaccinated people in an attempt to dissuade people from vaccinating.
But yeah, let’s just assume you are just a scientist educating us in a good faith effort about the topic.
rona plasma donation = rona plasma donation
Maybe I should’ve put SARS Cov-2 coronavirus 19 convalescent plasma donations instead of rona plasma donations...didn’t know that would be such a struggle.
But Again, thanks for helping prove my point: “The American Red Cross’ current policy is to only accept convalescent plasma donations from people who have recovered from COVID-19 and have not had the vaccine.”
And to your first point - I would assume avid blood donors would know the difference. I also think that if they were donating for C19 plasma, they should know the vax could jeopardize that particular plasma donation.
