Funny to see it quoted here as a cause for the transmission. Of course the initial case(s) and at least some transmissions are due entirely to other reasons better discussed in the political thread, but distrust is a contributing factor in some cases i am sure.

It's not just the NYT. There are multiple publications all trying to walk back claims they made during those years. That is odd to me. Something must be getting ready to drop that is making them go into CYA mode.
