Atmosphere: Pretty cool place. Very spacious. Lots of tables and chairs. Lots of screens. It could use a bunch of really old MSU memorabelia on the walls to lend the idea that he place has been the MSU bar that has been around forever. I thought the inside of the place was cool.
Location: As discussed, the location sucks. A narrow lane with speedbumps to the land of two story shotgun houses. However, given the fact that waiter dude was bringing me PBRs on a Sunday in the greater Starkville metroplex, the poor location is of necessity. Drinking on a Sunday in a bar in Starkville = cool. However, put that place on University or Russell or somewhere like that AND change the law to permit liquor on Sundays, and the place would become the signature MSU bar. As it stands, the location is a catch 22 -- it's the reason for the bar's very existence, and what will always keep it from being the coolest bar in Vegas.
Food: I found the food to be above average for sportsbar grub. The pasta I had was good. The pizzas looked to be satisfactory. And the wings are good. To have a good review of food from a sportsbar, the hamburger definitely needs a critique. Nobody in my party had one.
Note about mangement: It is Sunday and they have an exclusive on liquor and beer sales in Starkville. They were out of all blended wiskey today. All of it. No red wine -- that might be an every day issue given that it is a sports bar. But, going into a day when you have the exclusive on sales without any Crown is stupid. Apparently, the crowd after the game cleaned them out. WT17 did they expect? That's a pretty huge blunder that will cost them money.
