He may have a guy in mind and they’re either hoping persistence pays off to get him or waiting on a contract to expire before he comes. I know the US Open is important, but I wonder if the focus is LA ‘28 and if they have to wait until summer of ‘25 to get “their guy” then so be it
He’s said that it has to be the right guy and until then the current staff is going work double duty. Too important to put it on the back burner or rush a wrong hire
I agree 100%! Definitely has to be the right person or these top recruits and senior level wrestlers thinking about coming to OK State are going to be like "who? really?" and will not be coming to OK State. This is a very important hire. I think everyone is hoping for someone with the letter E in both their first and last names! haha

In the past week Plott and Amine have said they're sticking around after this year and we already knew Wyatt is as well. Do we know what Hamiti's, Surber's, and Fish's plans are?

I think both Surber and Plott have said they'll stay as long as they're welcomed. Not sure about Fish.
Obviously for UWW he is 79kg, but for olympic do we see him drop to 74kg or bulk to 86kg? Cut probably more likely considering Brooks/Zahid at 86kg v Mesenbrink at 74kg.
Dean would be a 74kg guy. Next Olympics I believe we see Brooks at 97kg. Dake will also be at 86kg
RTC seems like it’s getting some good results despite not having a HC. Maybe one of these days they’ll get one and we can see whether it takes another leap

That’s a crazy stacked lightweight group for the RTC. Zahid and DT are great upper weight guys to have. What weights are they missing, or is it time to get a dang HC?
