2-2 vs BCSin bowl games: W vs Iowa State andOklahoma; Lvs Louisville andBoston College

4-5 vs BCS during regular season: W vs Oregon State twice andOregon twice; L vs Arkansas (41-14), Oregon State twice, Georgia (48-13), and Washington (24-10)

Don't know why Cowherd picked 2002, but in 2001 Boise State went 0-2 vs BCS: Lost 32-13 to South Carolina and 41-20 to Washington State. In 2000 Boise State also went 0-2 vs the BCS, losingto Arkansas andto Washington State.
So that's 0-4 vs the SEC since 2000.

That is why I would always rather be MSU in the SEC than a Boise St. like product playing a bunch of nobodys and having act relevant.

Louisville was in CUSA (and not a BCS conference) when they beat the Broncos in 2004.

For whatever that's worth (not sure if this makes the pro-Boise argument stronger or weaker).
