That shows how thin and shallow you are right there.
I am surprised you didn't get the meaning of the quote....I never thought it would go right over your head. I have zero problems with education as I am a believer for the need.....but I have a BIG problem with narrow minded insecure people that are always touting their educational achievements. I'm more interested in life achievements.

Gee I don't know....I saw a post that seemed to make education into a frivolous endeavor. The quote: from a Professor at Princeton, attempts to illustrate that education never is encompassed or ended with degrees. It is ongoing in life, and should be taken seriously. Learning is always achievement. Something as simple as.....oh knowing other nation's flags for example.....can always come into play whenever one doesn't expect it. Adding to one's depth through learning, makes a better society. Belittle insecurity? Sure. Belittle elitism? I'm with you. Belittle learning?

I would never belittle learning. I know exactly what the Professor from the Institute for Advanced Study meant....thats why I posted the quote. Anyway glad you figured it out.

I understand you were just throwing a jab at country, but seriously....don't make education into something that's just a waste.
