CPC Week #1 Predictions/Results

Glenn @ East Forsyth- Former CPC TEAM "Glenn" is in for a long night.

West Forsyth @ Davie Co.- Former CPC TEAM "Davie" could be in for a long night as well. West will rely heavily on the run with their two headed RB's and outstanding O-Line.

Western Alamance @ NorthWest Guilford - I like Northwest Guilford in the CPC... a "great fit", They should handle business at home.

Mt Tabor @ Reagan - Reagan might have the best Defense in there short history. QB Jacob Smith is a NC State commit . Reagan wins "Big".... Mt. Tabor lost a ton of great players.

North Forsyth @ RJ Reynolds- I'm going with RJR in a close battle; RJR gotta get their money's worth for that field.

Parkland @ Carver- Parkland and Carver is a toss up, both schools have had it rough lately.

I think Davie is gonna surprise some people, multiple D1 recruits on offense and defense, coaches from the Doug Illing championship run, head coach Hinson who’s won a state championship with Salisbury, and an overall solid team, now they might not beat West or Mooresville, but I think they’re being slept on heavy.

I seen Davie roster. They have some good size healthy players. Yes i could see them sneak up and win some games that they ain’t supposed to.

I really hope that Davie gets back to its winning ways. The CPC is much better when Davie was strong(Unfortunately, they aren't in the CPC anymore). I think the new coach will do great...He's already beat West Forsyth's JV Thursday 7-6 at West.

CPC conference goes 5-1 opening week with 4 shutouts and looks strong again in 2025. This conference only gave up 16 total points week 1. Defense in 2025 gets off to a great start.


West Forsyth 42 Davie 8 - West jumped all over Davie as WR/KR Jailyn Moore (NC State/Wake recruit) takes the opening kick to the house and they dominated Davie… quickly up 35-0 in 2nd Q. ….They play #1 Grimsley next In the Clemmons Village.

East Forsyth 31 Glenn 0 - East Forsyth‘s WR Jaire Richburg who is headed to NC State was on another level and the defense was too much for Glenn. They play Northern Guilford next week who beat Reidsville last night.

Reagan 14 Mt Tabor 0 - Reagan QB Jacob Smith(NC State) was very rusty after missing last year with a torn ACL had a couple of picks but the Reagan defense that everyone is talking about shut down Tabors offense. They play a really good Oak Grove team who won 49-0 next week.

Northwest Guilford 28 Western Alamance 0 - Northwest is good again, going to be fun when they take on the top 3 teams in the CPC. They play Page next week who is coming off a loss.

RJR 35 North Forsyth 0 - QB Elrod is really good has been the starter the past 3 years and Reynolds has many other talented players. They are going to upset some teams because they are that good. They Play Glenn next week and should get another Win.

Parkland 6 Carver 8 - The only loss opening week for the CPC conference. Close loss against a smaller school, looks like another long year for Parkland. They play a very good Walkertown Team who just won 55-0.

They truly only have one D1 talent as of right now and that’s the Driver kid. The LB got manhandled all night and didn’t look like someone with any offers. I went into that game hoping to see Dean and Chaffin battle it out.

Yes, I understand Dean is on a different level but I was hoping to see a little more out of the new Davie crew. Maybe West is just that good.
