I heard that an IHOP is going in front of Hilton Garden
Did Cracker Barrel just “new Coke” us? Meanwhile…
Been up but not for long enough to find new stuff. Ate at Harvey’s for lunch last week. Not of my choosing…
If my metabolism would support pancakes I do enjoy their warm syrup. To be young enough to not care what you eat again…

Starkville doesn’t have a lot of things that a town it’s size would normally have.
Any of you local Starkvegas natives.....is Oby's still good? It was back in my day.
If Harvey's is at least mid, coming up on 50 years in the restaurant biz, that's incredibly rare.
I am actually disappointed. CB is a bunch of cowards. I really wanted the people who made the decision, and approved it, to have to live with the results.
I suspect the people who made the decision will have to deal with consequences....but the restaurant got a ton of free publicity and may survive.
The question is whether people who were so upset by the changes will actually go back. If they didnt improve the food, I dont see any reason to go

OK, so it's just an irrational desire based on emotion and nothing reasonable.
Again, the people who have the power to decide...decided. Just like the first time, they evaluated feedback and made a decision.
It's 17ing Cracker Barrel...it sucks and is forgettable regardless of what the logo looks like.

I think Oby's is still good - I think it's roughly the same as it ever was. I don't think they serve beer anymore, but getting a beer with a meal at Oby's was always more of a hassle than it was worth to me anyway.
I think their sandwiches and salads, chowders and gumbos are as good as ever. Several of my friends always got Oby's red beans and rice but I never got that, so I can't speak to it.

I haven't eaten at a CB in well over a decade, so no I am not invested in them succeeding and don't have a stake in them.
Me pointing out someone's irrational and over the top anger doesn't mean I then passionately hold the opposite position.
