Craft beer in Starkville.

What store(s) in Starkville have a good selection of craft beer? I can get Stella, Fat Tire, and Blue Moon here where I live and that's about it. I'm looking for something along the lines of Shiner Bock, Light Blonde, White Wing or Spaten Premium Lager, Kirin Ichiban, Crooked Letter Heffe or Sheep Shank and/or any suggestions on similar types of brews. Thanks.

this may come as a surprise, but.......

go to Vowell's grocery store when you get here (next to Newk's). They have a great selection. I built my own 6-pack this week and was very pleased with the selection. Lots of good beers. Most of the "craft beers" are not cold and will need to be iced, though.

They still have a good selection, just be sure to check the "use by" date before you buy. I know, that doesn't just apply to Coconut's.

Corky's right by campus has a decent selection and is pretty convenient.

In addition to being a ****-hot guitar player and singer, Ed can brew the hell out of the beer. He is contract brewing with Lazy Mag until he can get some traction, and if we drink this stuff up (which we will - again, Ed can really brew it) we will see a brick and mortar brewpub in Starkville. I think we can all drink to that. Oh yeah, and he happens to be a great guy.
