had this particular feeling.... That we will lose any lead in the 9th with our bullpen, doesn't matter the spread. I knew when Routt went out they would at least tie it.

I actually feel your pain. You mean to tell me it's been like this for you guys all year? I really feel bad for you having to go through this. One weekend of pulling for you and watching your bullpen blow leads has aggravated me enough. I can't imagine watching it all year.

but without them we are dealt our second straight losing season. I didn't know losing seasons existed until this.

That's true. You do have a line up that can put up runs. Your pitching just doesn't go past maybe 2 or 3 pitchers that can get outs. The rest seem to be BP. I still don't see how we didn't hit those guys better.

Our defense sucks. We swing the bats OK in most games. But we don't play defense worth a ****.

We have 1/3 of a complete team.

We need some speed too.

but I want more than a winning ball club. I understand you do too and that you are thinking relative to Polk and all.

Just saying that "complete team" shouldn't be mentioned anywhere near this team unless the word "not" is in between.

I was originally trying to go for a team that has all the tools to win.. pitching and batting and defense. But I see what you are saying.

And yes a winning ball club is what I expect year in and year out.
A team that goes beyond the point of just winning games and starts winning championships is what I want and that will be the complete team

But there is a huge difference between a "complete team" and a "winning team."

Cal St Fullerton is a complete team, Indiana is a winning team. It's all relative.

I expect us to be far above a "winning team" in the next few years.

Again, I understand that we are thinking in Polk terms here.
