I am not wrong though- Reese is objectively a good player. She was an All Star as a rookie. She led the league in rebounding as a rookie.
Claiming all she is is tall is absurd.

Even if everyone on here claims Reese is bad, that doesnt mean she is bad. This place is infamous for its wildly dumb takes on basketball. And many posters in this thread are infamous for being unable to even process nuance or context.

I will display reality in visual form, since that might be easier to understand.
Clark is clearly better, but Reese is clearly not untalented.

I think the WNBA is trying to create an Angel Reese-Caitlin Clark rivalry that parallels Magic-Bird.
The real parallel is Larry and Isaiah, because Isaiah had a lot of bitterness towards Bird being white just like Reese. That may be giving Reese too much credit as far as her ability though; not sure. Only really seen clips of her excerpted to make her look bad so not sure how good or not she is.

There used to be an idiot on Memphis sports talk radio named Geoff Wineburger (@Drebin, @PBRME I know remember him) that always said Pau Gasol was a garbage NBA player because he scored plastic points on tip ins.
Yeah, I remember weinburger. He was the original Steven A Smith: Say some really controversially stupid things to drive reactions. It's why even though the guy had an IQ of 50 and a terrible radio voice, and couldn't articulate a coherent sentence, he still had ratings, People loved listening to his show just to call in and call him an idiot.

That is absolutely spot on.

I blame Weinburger for knocking years off Big Jack’s life. Most of the time Jack would let it go, but every once in a while you could tell Jack was done with his ****.

Caitlin tied a record last night. She tied for the most 20 point, 10 rebound games in WNBA history.

During the game they showed a graphic that had her tied with Diana Taurasi at 9 and someone I've never heard of at 10. They also had the amount of games played. Both Taurasi and the other one were in the 400's and Caitlin was in the 40's.

And she had one last night, so that tied the record. She has just passed the arguable GOAT in WNBA history and she is only in her second season, where Taurasi had something like 20 seasons to do.

Having ten 20-10 games is the career record? No wonder no one watched their games until Clark showed up.

Yes. It's pretty sad. But it just shows Caitlin is light years ahead of where everyone else in the league is.

I'll watch for her, but if she isn't playing I'll turn it. When they had the first preseason game, they announced she was out and I and my daughter looked at each other and she said "if she isn't playing I don't care to watch." I said "Done" and turned it.

I'm not even watching for her. But I think it's pretty clear already she's the best player that league has ever seen. Both on the court and it popularity.

I see I was wrong. I took Taurasi over 500 games to get 9.
Also it wasn't rebounds. It was assists. I'd bet the rebounds and points would be more than 10.

Caitlin broke the single season assist record in her first year so she gets a lot more assists than everyone else in the league.
