the on field and replay officials both blew the call. Was either a forward lateral or forward fumble. Not a legal lateral. The SEC has no monopoly on poor officiating.
I hope this issue gets addressed in the offseason. Kind of like what they did with 4th down fumbles. A fumble that does not hit the ground or an opponent player and is recovered by another player on your team should be dead at the recovery spot.
