Crazy year in the SEC West.

The West was down

WTF???!! EVERY SEC West team is bowl eligible! How is that down? When was the last time that happened? Jeezzzzz. OMU has a good team, we had to play them at their place and they outcoached us and out played us. It happens. I don't see that game going down the same way if we were in DWS with 60K cowbells.

Honestly, which West team do you think was better than their 2013 version (besides us)?

Ole Miss? Yes
Bama? Nope
A&M? Not even close
LSU? Negative
Auburn? No
Arkansas? Yes

So of our six division opponents, four were worse than they were last year. Let's not even start on the East. The SEC was down this year. This isn't really debatable. This was a year where the lower tier schools (except Vanderbilt) all improved and the big boys all regressed. It was a down year. It's still the best conference, but it was a down year.

It's my opinion that if you never have the ball with a chance to take the lead in the 4th, you were beaten soundly. I'll concede that's debatable.
