Like I said, I will pull even harder for this team. When other decisions have that much of an impact on the whole team due to selfish behavior it cripples a team with little depth. I still think Burns will come out tomorrow night and give everything they have. This game still means something to the other players as it should.
How many did we lose? I know of 1

I support my Dawgs thru good and bad. We have to remember these are younguns and they are going do stupid stuff..... Go Dawgs.
Great post. That stuff will get us all eventually. The Burns coach handles business like a boss.

A coach is more than just a teacher of football. A good coach will put life lessons above football lessons. Most kids ain’t going to college to play football. But they all got to do life.

Respect to Coach Devine. I’m glad he coaches young men in Cleveland County.

Well said. I agree with every word of it. You are not just coaching high school kids, you are coaching future husbands and fathers.

I’ll find one positive.
Freshman Kolton Pryor is the future for sure. Kid came out of the backfield with some wheels. Having trouble up front but I like what I see from him.

At this point, the way we look, I dunno if we can beat East Gaston or West Lincoln. Offensively this is the worst I've seen Burns look in a very long time. Glad we have Cherryville and Highland Tech on the schedule.
The coaching staff loves your positivity. They brag on you all the time. They know who you are. It was already a tough task ahead but with what we lost it made it even harder. If we start getting things turned around I can’t wait to read your reports. You’re the number one Bulldawg fan right?

I remember you!

You deleted my post a few years ago. For no reason. Then you got caught up five finger discounting internet parts.

come on over here. I’ll buy you a cold drink. And a hotdog.

They put my post back up too.
Come on. 🐱

No, I got your point. But if this quality of football is anywhere near acceptable to anybody then something's wrong. Sorry but there's no excuse for this
Please enlighten us. What would you do different? We all want to know… Given the situation the team was put in, what would you do better?

Listen man, I've been coming to Burns games for 25 years. I'll continue to be here every week win or lose. But come on this isn't good. That's all I'll say.

You made that point. You said there is no excuse for this and it’s unacceptable. I ask you again. What would you do differently? It’s easy to go to games and type but not so easy to offer a solution is it? We’re playing the number 1 team in 5A who is damn good in every phase of the game. We lost two starters from the team. We have 3 starters in street clothes, a brand new QB, new backfield and that’s not even including other players that graduated. Please offer a solution so they can be better prepared next week. The coaches will be waiting for you to teach them how to make this acceptable for you. Can’t lose a 25 year veteran.

Congrats Crest. To say they are loaded is an understatement. They have the size and experience up front to be physical and create problems to go with a large core of talent at skill positions. They will be very hard to beat this year.

As for Burns, we knew it was an uphill battle and the last week has been tough on the team. Injuries also didn’t help us either. One week at a time. It was obvious what we were trying to do tonight with different players and formations. You have to find what works but going against a team of that caliber makes it look much worse than it is at times. It doesn’t get any easier next week but if we get healthy and keep getting better we will be fine in the long run. Game experience can do a lot as long as the team keeps their head up.

Burns played hard. Sometimes things are just hard. Lots of things against them this week. They kept playing they didn’t quit.

If Crest gets to all 8 cylinders on offense it’ll be trouble. Hamrick was slinging arrows and bombs. When Brock Melton gets back look out.

Kicking game is much better. Lots of work to do but it looks like there has been lots of work done too.

Who kept the dawgs pinned up? 🤣Just kidding, Burns never quit even after being dominated, I hope they can get it together, I never enjoy seeing them down like this! Chargers got work to do but already well ahead of the curve!
