(JTA) — A South Carolina man who ranted against Jews was arrested for buying a gun for a shooting “in the spirit of” a white supremacist who killed nine at a black church, according to a federal complaint.
Benjamin Thomas Samuel McDowell, a former convict with connections to white supremacists, was arrested Wednesday after he bought a handgun from an undercover FBI agent, The New York Daily News reported.
McDowell, 29, allegedly told the agent that he was inspired by Dylann Roof, who was sentenced to death last month for the killings at the Charleston church in 2015, and that he wanted to commit a “big scale” attack and write on the wall of the building “In the spirit of Dylann Roof.”
McDowell had not decided on the location for his intended attack, according to the complaint, but had shared on his Facebook a link to a local synagogue, Temple Emanu-El in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with the message “I love love to act what u think.”
He also seemed to claim that Jews were out to kill white people, writing on his Facebook page, “All they wanne do is stay loaded on drugs the Jews put here to destory white man and they fest on the drugs (sic),” according to the complaint.

MORRISTOWN - Two undocumented immigrants from Honduras were indicted Thursday on multiple charges of sexually assaulting a girl in Morristown beginning when she was 8 years old until last year, when she was 14.
A third man who also is undocumented - Jose Bueso, 20 - was charged last year with abusing the same girl, but he quickly pleaded guilty in October to touching an intimate part of her body in June and was sentenced last month to four years in state prison.
Bueso, who also lived in Morristown, faces deportation to Honduras when he finishes his sentence.
A Morris County grand jury on Thursday issued separate indictments against Orlando Soto, 50, of Abbett Avenue and Marcos Carias, 36, of Speedwell Avenue that charge them both with sexually abusing the girl over a period of years. Both men were arrested and charged last summer and are being held in the Morris County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail each.
Soto was indicted on nine counts, including for burglary and attempted aggravated sexual assault by forcing his way into the victim's home in May and trying to sexually assault her.
Soto's alleged molestation of the girl began in August 2009 when she was 8 and included acts of penetration through August 2015, according to the indictment.
Because of the alleged burglary and attempted sexual assault upon the now-15-year-old girl in 2016, Soto was indicted on an overall charge of endangering the welfare of a child between August 2009 and May 31, 2016.
The grand jury indicted Carias on four counts that include three charges of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
Carias is accused of touching the child on intimate parts of her body and having her touch his genitals between 2009 and August 2014.

I think Trump's biggest challenge will be from the Deep State. Those in government that will break laws, leak classified information to try and hurt the Administration. Sessions needs to convene Grand Juries to flush them out. He will.
True, but NSA and CIA have them as well. I think Sessions can find the leaker of the Flynn deal pretty quickly. A relatively small number of people had access to that information.
I think the National Guard memo was part of that effort. There are ways to track down where the Squirrels are hiding their nuts.
