but since the georgia tech debacle, we've improved in every phase of the game (except special teams).. the numbers weren't necessarily there today offensively, but tyson lee showed that his style, although conservative, can be consistent, in that he manages the game well. wesley carroll did it last year, opposite a defense that kept us in the game (like today). and you can't expect to make many throws downfield against vandy's secondary.. it's one of the SEC's most dangerous units. we might've been boring, but we beat vandy up on both sides of the ball. and we haven't won both sides of the ball all year against real teams.
it's not that i'm excited or sheepish as much as i am relieved. we've shown what we're capable of the last two games, and that's something to build on. today's outcome certainly didn't hurt recruiting. i'd rather be positive about something i can't control than bitchy about it. whether some of you want to admit it or not, coach croom knows more about college football, and more specifically, our team, than you or i ever will.
if it means that much to you, suit up, or go into coaching. then maybe you could actually contribute to making a difference. your negative vibe will only carry over into things in your life that are far more important than a college football team.
and for the record, i'm only lashing out and giving you a hard time because you're complaining AFTER A WIN. OVER A TOP 15 TEAM. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT? I DON'T GIVE A **** THAT IT'S VANDY. WE WON. CHALK IT UP AND MOVE ON. if we suck again next week, then we'll consider this all for not. until then, enjoy the moment.
