you don't pay ANY buyout money to someone who has resigned....except maybe if Cr ms asked for enough cash to pay the deposit to get the moving van out to the house on Monday or Tuesday.

Seriously....we paid buyout money? We allowed him to "resign" and we paid him. That allowed him to save face and we don't have the stink of **** for firing the first AA SEC coach. It's a lose-lose situation....done everyday in business.

and understand that an amicable agreement was reached to resign. It is called a contract.

In today's worlds, no one walks away without some cash in hand.

but with a bit of sarcasm. Hell yeah there was money paid....but I will damn guarantee you that it was NOT the full buyout total. They were able to come to an "agreement."

Damn, I would have loved to have been in that meeting as Cr ms stepped off the bus. And how about the one this morning....when the nuts were on the table? I do not buy for a moment that GB fired him at 3am on the phone. He may have delivered a revised option or 2 at that hour.....but he is way too professional to fire the fat bastard over the phone.
