For those of you that speak so highly of Croom's "character". He's a pathological liar. A few examples if I may....First, he was quoted saying that he would retire before he ran the SPREAD OFFENSE. Then a week later he was quoted saying that we actually ran the SPREAD OFFENSE. Third, postgame against Vandy he was quoted saying that we were going to be back to real football..line up in the I-Formation and "hit you in the mouth". Seriously Croom which one is it? *Furthermore, Wes Carrol led us to the Liberty Bowl last year with shoulder problems and basically no help from McCorvey..he just came in and played football. A year later after recovering from his shoulder injury he is pulled from the starting line up. But after the third game Croom was quoted saying "We're gonna live or die...sink or swim with Wes Carrol from here on out." Once again a boldfaced lie...I don't see how anyone would want to play for this guy. -- Hopefully Greg Byrne has the gumption to fire this clown that doesn't care about for the years down the road, burning redshirts against MTSU (it's like he just wanted to win THIS game...why didn't we want to win any of the other previous 7????), and choosing his "friendship" with McCorvey over the betterment of Mississippi State? AND get paid $2 million on top of that. --It's obvious Ellis Johnson knew that there was trouble ahead and didn't want to be associated with Croom and the direction he was going...which is obvouisly SOUTH! Please Greg Byrne...spare us!</p>
