I was at a convention this morning and the "key-note" speaker delivered his message on character, and doing things the "right way." Then, after talking about this for a minute he popped Sly's face up on the powerpoint and said that "being a person of high character doesn't mean that you won't get fired." I thought he was going to give us a giggle or something and the bastard was as serious as a heart attack. Apparently, he woke up one morning and heard about Croom and that he was fired and without checking simple things like win's and losses, he came up with that ****. I left.

He went to Wake Forest and then to UM for something.

This really isn't news, but I wanted to bring it up as a "***** alert."

to make a difference in the life of the 27 or so of Jackie's boys that he ran off? Are you gonna tell me all of them were beyond help? If he would have gotten off his high horse and didn't buy into that "new sheriff in town" mentality, he may have been more successful in the early part of his time here.

Everyone talks about him being loyal to his assistants by resigning when Byrne demanded big changes. How about being loyal to the school that paid him millions?

He ripped Stringer a new *** on national TV and then blamed the loss to Bama on him. For five years he never ripped the offensive coaches on TV or blamed the loss on his inept offense.

He signed Bowman after he left jail, recruited Perilloux and Jimmy Johns, and had tons of arrests.

He criticized the fans and message board coaches. He forgot that HE WORKS FOR US. We pay his salary. We are his employer.

His high character is overblown.

Some of you people have been in denial about just how bad Jackie had let our program get. I've never seen any team anywhere that had as many completely worthless pieces of **** at what Jackie left us with. We needed an enema real bad, and as much as I criticize Crxxm for most everything else he's done, in that respect he did what had to be done.

The guy might have gone on to say that just having character doesn't mean you can rest on that alone. You have to also perform and garner success to keep a job. You can't just walk around your job talking about character while your TPS reports pile up on your desk.
