For the recruitniks. I was reading 247 and noticed that they had Fletcher Adams listing UM as his favorite but he largely picked as signing with MSU (88% I think). What's going on with that? Is he still on the board for us? I know we are pretty darn deep at DT so that might be a factor but from what I hear Fletcher is not one to back down from competition. Also, how are things with Leo Lewis looking? Decommited from UA but hasn't pulled the trigger on anyone else. I know he will be a signing day guy but just didn't know where we are with that.

Just wondering what the word on the street is.

Beats seem to think we told Fletcher we'd love to have his commitment but aren't going to save a spot for him. We're apparently in a really good spot with everyone left on our board.

I guess that's a product of not recruiting high profile athletes.*****

tweet last night that was quickly removed…it said something along the lines of: The boy aint going nowhere>>>>>Fletcher Adams...

Ironically this happened about 20 minutes after Kentavious Thomas tweeted that we have a new recruit on board next week but he aint naming no names….

Is there a connection? Who knows but I seem to think he will ultimately end up at State.

From what Im told, which is worth as much as _____, lewis and adams are locks. OM has no shot at adams and a small shot at lewis.

Actually, we won't be so deep at DT after this season, since we lose several guys to graduation. PJ Jones, Eulls, P Smith-DE, and Virges will be gone, plus we lost two others to attrition. Also, CJ is likely gone after 2016. We need D-linemen now, especially inside tackles. Perfect scenario for a true DT like Fletcher Adams. We need him badly.

Kendall Jones likely ends up inside, as with Gab Campbell. Not sure on that DE from Co-Lin, I assume he stays outside. The Bates kid from Louisiana seems to be our top DL target not named Fletcher Adams.

I thibk people don't realize Adam is a small kid, but strong and very raw. He's probably 6'1, 260 (maybe not 260). He's not Nick James.

He's a pretty similar build to Quay, actually. Height isn't a requirement at DT... How often does a QB throw in the middle of the field? He just needs to handle a 315 G/C. If he can do that at 6'1", awesome.

I am not disagreeing. I don't understand why he hasn't committed to State. From all of the articles (OM) on scout, he seems to say positive things about OM and that they are in the lead. Again, I am surprised. Next year, RNk will be a jr., Gross and Hamilton will be seniors. I can't see RNk sticking around, so we'll have a a need to fill
