You have to think something is wrong with Bowen. Why would we take our best reliever and turn him into a starter?

John Cohen has said all along that Crosswhite would get some starts in the near future. Bowen will be available out of the pen tonight. Im pretty sure he is trying to figure out if Bowen or Crosswhite will be the closer or starter.

unless the vodka blurred things, he came out early against Nicholls- not even making it to the 5th inning...

It is being kicked around about Crosswhite starting during SEC weekends due to a lack of competent arms...curious to see where this goes</p>

Bowen was very successful as the set up man for Weatherford two years ago. It'll be interesting to see how this all shakes out during the season. Btw, Crosswhite was scheduled to start last Sunday if Cohen did not use him on Friday or Saturday.

in preseason was that Bowen was the friday night guy. He had a pretty good outing his first start but struggled a little last weekend.

I guess we found out that Crosswhite is a better closer than starter. Oh well no since in getting to upset, I now realize that we are just not that good...

Bowen in to hold them where they are why are bats come alive and we salvage this series. We will come back and win this game. Book it!

Its hard to comeback when you leave runners on 2nd and 3rd and Brownlee pops up to 2nd and then in the next inning bases loaded and Brownlee strikes out. And we are down 4 runs but we have out hit Hawaii 10 to 8. Thats what happens when you cant hit with runners on and you have 3 errors so far. It really does seem like these guys are just not focused.
