Announcers said we sold out our 600 ticket allotment real fast. I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 700 Bulldogs up there.

I would say 650-750 for the 1st game. Probably 50 less for the 2nd game. UVA site estimated 300-500 for 1st game, but that was wishful thinking on their part.

Looked that way from the broadcast. Our entire allotted section was maroon, the nicer family seats were the same, and there were scattered dawg fans throughout the stadium: several behind home plate, and a number down the fences.

Worth noting that UVA didn't sell out their allotment -- so we snapped up quite a few tickets from their site after selling out our allotment.

I was expecting about 1500 -- we're probably a bit short of that, but it's hard to really tell about the numbers outside of the allotted section.

Maybe the most important part is that those who were there were loud. You could pretty consistently hear our fans over theirs on TV. I've even
heard reports that there was a Roll Call yesterday!

We did have a roll call and it was a damn good one. Roll call leader was the de facto head cheerleader for the crowd this weekend. Young fella with a straw hat. During the 1st rain delay right before play resumed he was up against the net having some fun with the UVA players standing outside their dugout since we were sitting right behind it. I'm not sure what was being said, but there was a lot of laughter coming from both him and the UVA players so it couldn't have been too bad. Within 30 seconds, Sister Mary Elephant who was the usher for our section came down and made him leave for "taunting". We can do taunting well, but that wasn't it. It was ridiculous.
