Has the CSL ever had two teams in the finals like this year with MS & VH?

MS no need.... all these people want to do is whine about the IHSA and the poor friars, PN not doing what THEY wanted or profess their allegiance to the oracle of the NIPL. ( Newt is the Chairman of the NIPL btw)

You simply cannot speak of issues that don't play to their narrative. We are merely publicly educated plebes.

Oh I don't feel sorry... I'm merely stating the obvious...

I'm happy to sit back and watch all you idiots continue to whine when things don't go your way!

You can go worship the NIPL now.... leave the passy behind.

Congrats to the two CSL teams in the finals. The CSL doesn't get a lot of respect but what is even more unlikely is neither Maine South or Vernon Hills won their conference this year. Maybe just maybe the CSL improved as a conference this year. Losing Waukegan and picking up Vernon hills would be the most obvious addition. The other difference was the MSL games. They didn't fair well against the MSL, but I feel it made them better playing increased competition.

I hope you remember the first CSL team to play for a state championship.
Not Maine South.
Not the Trevians or the Wildkits.

Glenbrook North won the very first 5A state championship in 1974, back when 5A was the largest class.
I was following the CCL back then and Gordon Tech went down to mop up on some rural team from ESL. They had this guy, I think Kellen Winslow was his name. someone said he was like, pretty good. Uh Hu! Good by Gordon. Next week, GBN takes it all
