Really like the Broncos...really don't like that schedule.

Love em or hate em they take on all comers. Earlier this year one of the more prolific posters stated that a call was made re scheduling Montini and that nothing came of it. Based on who the team he was referring to, that teams history of scheduling non-conference games, his statement lacks a certain credibility.
Montini vs. Naz.....the rivalry that never was.

Totally agree! Love how they take on all comers and build out one of the toughest non conference schedules year in and year out. Sometime in the future I would like to see some Non Conf match ups with the Naperville/Lisle schools:
* Waubonsie
* Neuqua
* Benet
* Naperville Central
* Naperville North
Has that ever happened in the past? I've been in the Chicagoland for about 10 years now and following HS football here for about 6 years and I cant remember any games between Montini and the above list....
The only competition in which these two schools are currently engaged is the selling of "wolf tics".Naz is clearly ducking Montini even switches classes just to avoid them. Craziness

Lighten up, Francis. It was a joke.PJJP,
Nothin nice to say about either school that has ended JCA's season since what, 2009 right?!
Voodoo,
Mopntini did play Benet a few years back and they beat them so bad Benet stopped playing them.
Some hard feelings after that game.

Is Bones helping you carry those bags?I think Montini's non-con schedule is strong enough playing Loyola, Lincoln Way East, Maine South, East St. Louis, Palatine, Lake Zurich and the rest that they really don't need to play the teams listed above. I rather play the teams Montini has already selected to play.
If anything Montini needs to relax a bit on the scheduling. This year they added an additional powerhouse team to the schedule being Brother Rice which is in addition to their already usual very tough schedule, especially for a team which has a true football enrollment of 4A (not to mention they are also playing Mt. Carmel this year for the first time ever). Besides JCA I don't see any other teams with around 700 coed students playing this type of powerhouse schedule year after year.
I think the only thing they could do in the future to top this schedule is to join the CCL Blue (Mt. Carmel, Loyola, Brother Rice, Providence, St. Rita) which I don't think is a good idea unless they increase their true enrollment to 1100 coed students. Doing this may draw more students from surrounding schools but to what degree I really have no idea?? Montini would be the main draw for students living in the western suburbs wanting to play in the CCL Blue. This would be a very bold but risky move.
This year I'm just hoping they make the playoffs. If they make it, then I think they will do well in the playoffs.
Wassup
As a note @downersdad and @Simon "GHOST' Riley, the QB was instructed to run out the clock but chose not to take that path. Ended the non-con series.

After Benet ruled the WSCC for so long I can say that there are many people that liked seeing Benet get beat bad and by a team that they used to play in the old conference.
Benet is substantially better now then when New got there.I do like what Benet's Coach New has done with the program. They've made steady improvement in the 5 years he's been there. While they are not at Montini's level, they would be a more challenging non-con game than prior to his arrival.
Who doesn't like to see a good Benet @ss whoppin.I would be one of those people.
Why the anti Benet sentiment?
