What about Naz and ESL??
I mean I would do it. I think Naz in talks with a game one but not sure if that one fell through or not. I know Naz needs home games because as it sits this year they have 6 would mean next year only 3. I'm sure they are looking to get 4 or 5 at home. Call and find out.

If you know anyone looking for week 1 or 2 next year that hasn't already told Naz no. I'm all ears.

I think Waubonsie has an open date on week 2 next year they are looking to fill (8to18 has their week 2 game as "TBD".

They have already scheduled OPRF for week 1 and Edwardsville at Edwardsville week 4 and Prarie Ridge week 7 so I'm not sure I would love to see them schedule another tough one in Naz - but it seems to be open.

Gee I wouldn't want to have that AD job finding open weeks throughout the season.

Yeah me too. what a nightmare. I thought they would have to go out of state twice - but it looks like they have managed to find 3 non cons (all tough ones that I'm sure also have trouble finding non con games) and it looks like the 5 Naperville's and Valleys agreed to do a random draw to play one team twice. Luckily WV got NV because in my book,..if you have to play a team twice (and you don't get lucky and draw Metea) it is nice that it is a rivalry game.

I'd love to see MC & Naz open up at Soldier Field and see how the hype builds up to it. Would be great for IHSA football and both programs I believe.
Plus, MC is not in the Blue next year, so maybe they can upgrade their non-con schedule. Still shaking my head at the fact they played two CPS teams (Taft and Lane) this year, winning by a combined score of 109-0. What's happened to this once storied program? They agree to drop down to the Green next year and play a non-con schedule of two CPS teams this year?

ESL currently have week 1, 2 (Classic), and week 7 open for 2018. I know there is a thought about doing a something with the DVC to replace Granite City and Collinsville. At least from an ESL standpoint.

MC used to open with JCA all the time and not sure why it stopped. I have read and heard on the Prep 312 podcast that a lot of Blue coaches want to blow up the current model due to playoff concerns. Not sure how true or who as the only name given was Kuska.

I know it won't happen but ideally MC could have their 4 Green games next 2 season. Then have LA, PC as crossovers, schedule Naz as opener at Soldier Field and try to work out a week 2 or later game against SR. That's 8 games and you could understand 1 maybe cupcake game added to the schedule.

I think pjjp was just asking about MCs non cons. I don't think anyone had a problem with the rest of the teams in the blue non-con schedule but you felt the need to bring up "a lot" of blue coaches want an easier path to state and specifically refer to "Kuska". It's almost like they give you a class on Dante on how to misdirect and dog-whistle post.

yeah that would be good for everyone. Do a Home and Away 2 year agreement?

ESL vs.two DVC (NC? NN? WV? NV? MV?)_
EDs vs two DVC (NC? NN? WV? NV? MV?

Could make one home and one away and then flip it for year two. Example
2018 ESL at Home vs NC
2018 ESL Away vs NV
2019 ESL Away vs NC
2019 ESL Home vs NV

Then at some point I would get to try BigMama'sBBQ that Edgy and Crusader were talking about!!

Wasn't making a comment about any schools schedule or coaches, simply stated that on the Catholic League Corner on the Prep 312 podcast they made the statement that a lot of coaches wanted to blow it up and they named Kuska as a source. Maybe someone can link to it so you can listen yourself if you'd like. Have stated many times in threads that I think SR will be good and have never once spoken bad about them.

For the past 2 seasons MC has had weak opening season games and have stated my opinions on those. 2013 & 2014 MC opened with St. Pat's and 2015 they opened with St. Joe's Philly. And as stated above, I hope that with the drop to the Green they up their non conference schedule.

I like a nationally ranked, out-of-state team for the Classic. Let's bring in MS week 1 and mix Phillips in to replace GC for some fun.

Im sure now that the contracts are done with ESL and Vianney, Provi will try and schedule games with Mater Dei and Bishop Gorman for the next few years.

They should consider Althoff. They had a Home/Away arrangement many years ago.
